Welcome to the West Country Cheese Co, a creative and obsessively passionate Cheese Company that loves to supply beautiful Cheese Wedding Cakes and Cheese Celebration cakes for all occasions.  Our Mission is to provide the most delicious quality artisan cheese in the most creative manner.

Hi, we are Jonathan and Lakshmi Walter, owners of The West Country Cheese Co. Founded in 2007 by two individuals  with a passion for great food and, in particular, cheese, the West Country Cheese Co. has grown to become one of the leading retailers of online gifts and cheese celebration cakes.

We live on the rugged North Cornwall coast, just a few hundred metres from the beach with our two children and our dog Barney. When we are not brainstorming ideas, talking cheese, packing boxes or furiously typing bespoke quotes, you’ll find us reading, cooking some good food, and walking along the coastal path with the rest of the family. 

We have worked hard to create a large range of gift boxes, and hampers, as well as wedding and celebration cheese cakes. Our bespoke service also enables our customers to create something truly individual. In 2017, we launched our most unique range of Pork Pie & Wedding Cheese Cakes, a beautiful mix of delicious cheese and tasty award winning pies.  A match made in heaven! To date, we continue to expand our range and create delicious cheese wedding and celebration cakes for customers across the UK.

We pride ourselves on offering a fabulous selection of cheesecakes to suit a vast array of events available to purchase at any time of the day for any time of the year. We always strive to offer impeccable customer service at no additional cost!  All these qualities are what set us apart from the rest. We are very approachable and interested to learn about your plans, so that we can provide something beautiful for you and everybody around you to enjoy and remember for years to come. And with over a decade of experience, we truly know what we are doing .
