Lockdown gifts - 2020 The Year of Lockdown

What a strange and unsettling year 2020 has been, and continues to be! Who would have thought when we were tucking into our turkey (and cheeseboards!) last Christmas, that this time the following year would be so different. 

We know how much time, effort and money goes into planning weddings and big events, and our hearts break for those of you having to postpone or cancel these. We know the sense of disappointment can feel overwhelming but we will be there for you with bells on once things are back to normal and these special occasions can once again take place. 

But while the government has been making u-turns galore, while schools have closed and opened and often closed again, while it has become the norm to wear a face mask everywhere and plaster hands in sanitiser, we’ve been beavering away behind the scenes to make sure we can continue to deliver our award-winning cheeses, pork pies and foodie products to you, right across the country. We are of course following all of the guidelines and health and safety measures to ensure we do this in the best way possible to keep everyone safe. 

One of the things we’ve done is to add lots more products and gift-wrap options to the website. We might not be able to see each other and give each other those much needed warm hugs right now, so the next best thing is to send our loved ones thoughtful gifts to let them know we’re thinking of them. Soon enough, we’ll be allowed back into each other’s homes for fun and laughter that doesn’t rely on the glare of a screen.
