Sparkenhoe Red Leicester

Made at Sparkenhoe Farm in Upton, a small hamlet in South West Leicestershire

Made in the traditional way from an old recipe using the farms unpasteurised milk from the previous days milking

Annatto is added, which is a natural plant dye to give its rich red colour. The cheeses are bound in cloth and lard and matured for approx 4 and a half months to give a truely authentic Red Leicester
