Shropshire Blue

Despite the name, Shropshire blue is made at the Colston Bassett Dairy in Nottingham and Long Clawson, Leicestershire.

It has an orange brown natural rind, the same as Stilton and the orange colour comes from the addition of annatto, a natural food colouring. It is very similar in flavour and texture to Stilton, just as creamy but slightly sharper.
