Parmigiano Reggiano

This is a multi award winning Parmesan cheese from the mountain area around Bologna and Modena. It is a mature Parmesan aged for a minimum 30 months in perfect conditions. This gives it a stronger character and harder, crunchier consistency and all the goodness common to all good Parmesans. Can be grated onto stronger tasting sauces and is lovely in a salad, but try it on its own with an aged balsamic vinegar and a glass of fine wine. Pure gastronomic heaven!
