Petit Normand

This unpasteurised camembert is sold as a whole cheese, around 4.5 inches in diameter and is well known in France as one of the classic national cheeses. In order to qualify for the AOC label, the milk must come from the cows in the Normandy region and must remain unpasteurised. The very best camemberts are unpasteurised

The flavour is creamy and complex, it has a clean aroma with a good tang of mushrooms
