Gorgonzola

Italy's famous blue, Gorgonzola hails from the Lombardy region of Italy and comes in two styles. Dolce, which is sweet and mild or Mountain, which has a slight piquant bite to it.

We favour the mountain version, this cheese has a delicous, rich creamy texture with the addition of a wonderful spicy lingering flavour, which comes from the earthy flavours of the mountain pastures and is aged for 6 months up to a year.
