Elmhirst

The Sharpham Estate in the Dart Valley makes not only truly inspired artisan cheeses but also some fine English wine.

Their award winning range of cheeses are made with traditional methods including cutting, moulding and turning, all performed entirely by hand.

Elmhirst is made with unpasteurised cow's milk and enriched with cream. It has a white mould ripened rind and a light & delicate flavour if eaten young (2-3 weeks). Mature it for 4-6 weeks it becomes richer and more full bodied.
