Made nearby to us at Stockbeare Farm in North Devon by Rachel Stephens. The milk produced daily by their herd of Fresian cows is stirred, scalded and matured into this unique cheese

Matured for approx 5 months, slightly longer than the Curworthy they also produce, makes this a tad stronger than it's smaller sister.

It is a very fine, award winning smooth & mature tasting creamy cheese, which was based on an old 17th Century recipe. It has a hard outer rind which can be eaten and gives it a nutty finish. It's definately one of our favourites.
